LEADERSHIP

Dr. El Nayeb is one of the two co-founders of Macro. Prior to co-founding Macro, Dr. El Nayeb owned and managed a private pharmacy chain from 1985 to 2002 and was also the exclusive distributor for Unilever Mashreq in two Delta governorates in Egypt. Dr. El Nayeb holds a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science.

Dr. Wasfy has more than 35 years’ worth of experience and brings extensive leadership experience to the Company in the areas of product development, sales & marketing, finance, business planning, strategy, and human resources. Prior to joining the Company, Dr. Wasfy served in various senior level positions, including as Chief Executive Officer, Managing Director and Vice President, at Janssen pharmaceuticals (Johnson & Johnson), GSK, Spimaco Misr, Pharco B International, and Sanofi Aventis. Dr. Wasfy holds a Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Science, an MBA Degree from ESLSCA, and an INSEAD LBS leadership diploma

Mr. Rady is the Managing Director of Alta Semper Capital and serves as a board member of Upper Egypt Leasing Company and Orascom Development and Management. Mr. Rady has more than 12 years’ worth of experience and brings extensive leadership experience to the Company in the areas of financial services and investment banking. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Rady was a Director at CI Capital Investment Banking, while he also worked with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the private sector arms of the World Bank in Cairo earlier in his career. Mr. Rady holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University in Cairo and has completed Executive Education at the London Business School.

Mr. Saeed is the Managing Partner at Kingsway Capital and has more than 14 years’ worth of experience in the financial sector. Prior to joining Kingsway Capital, Mr. Saeed was the Executive Director of Equities at Goldman Sachs. Mr. Saeed holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Trinity College and a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge.

Mr. McNaughton is a Managing Partner and chief operating officer of Kingsway Capital Partners Limited, responsible for the firm’s non-investment activities, including operations, compliance, and risk management. Prior to joining Kingsway, Conor was the UK Director of Business Risk Management at Cambridge Associates, where he led the operational due diligence reviews for funds based in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He previously held positions at Schroders NewFinance Capital, Deloitte CIS and KPMG in London, Moscow and Dublin respectively. He is a member of the institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and was educated at Trinity College Dublin and the London School of Economics.

Mr. Lurz is a Senior Advisor at Mckinsey & Company and has more than 25 years’ worth of experience. Prior to joining Mckinsey & Company, Mr. Lurz was a Global Division Head of Homecare at Reckitt Benckiser and CEO and Managing Director of Reckitt Central Europe. Mr. Lurz holds a Master of Science in Industrial Management from Stony Brook University and an MBA from University of Tuebingen.

Mr. Badreldin has more than 20 years’ worth of experience in private equity and investment banking and is currently serving as the Chairman of Cleopatra Hospitals Group and a Director at RMBV Private Equity. Mr. Badreldin previously served as a board member of Integrated Diagnostics Holdings and as a Partner and Head of the MENA Region for private equity at the Abraaj Group in Dubai from 2008 until 2018. Before joining Abraaj, Mr. Badreldin was a senior member of the Sponsor Coverage and Leveraged Finance team at Barclays Capital, the investment banking division of Barclays PLC, in London. Mr. Badreldin holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the American University in Cairo and an MBA from Cranfield School of Management.

Ms. El Baroudy has more than 10 years of experiences in private equity and is currently an investment professional at RMBV, where she is a member of the investment committee. Ms. El Baroudy also serves as a board member for Cleopatra Hospital Company. From May 2011 until June 2019, Ms. El Baroudy was with the Abraaj Group where she held various positions, including most recently associate director. Prior to joining Abraaj, Ms. El Baroudy worked as a consultant with Booz & Company focusing on projects out of the MENA region. Ms. El Baroudy holds an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University in the United States.

Ms. El Sallab has more than 35 years’ worth of experience in finance and is currently serving on certain board committees, including Edita Food Industries and the National Bank of Egypt. Ms. El Sallab holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the American University in Beirut, and holds an Executive Certificate from Harvard Kennedy School.
